March Is DVT Awareness MonthEveryone at Vein Centers for Excellence of Greenville and the American Heart Association want to remind you that March is Deep-Vein Thrombosis Awareness Month.
This commonly occurring medical condition can cause a potentially fatal complication: pulmonary embolism.
Whether you’re concerned about DVT; about painful, swollen, bulging varicose veins; or about blotchy spider veins, let Dr. Michael Traurig of Vein Centers for Excellence of Greenville examine your legs for vein disease.
In fact, varicose veins (venous insufficiency) are a medical condition that affects about 30% of Americans, so it’s not just a cosmetic issue. This progressive condition will get worse over time and can cause worse problems.
Finding lasting relief and improving the look of your legs is possible and even easier than you may think. We can schedule a free initial consultation on Wednesday, March 26th 26th or Thursday, March 27th, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with Dr. Traurig. Once we get your legs looking and feeling better, you’ll be proud to show them off by wearing skirts, shorts or swimsuits again when the weather turns warmer. Contact us today at 864-235-9008.

What Our Patients Are Saying About Us
Our No. 1 goal is to help our patients improve their quality of life through the treatments they receive from the Vein Centers for Excellence of Greenville. Here is what a few of our recent patients had to say:
I am an RN and had resisted treatment for my varicose veins because I thought surgery was the only way to resolve my problems. I feared the complications that could come as a result of having surgery. However, I was surprised at the fast, easy procedure with minimal discomfort and results beyond my expectations!†– Kathy F.
I thought that the vein treatment would be painful and the larger veins would require surgery, but Dr. Traurig’s techniques with the EVLT and his experience were amazing! He and his staff were very professional and caring. I am extremely happy and will continue coming back in order to maintain my legs.-Mary L., Age 64
